About Shueh Hao Lim

Dr Lim qualified in medicine in 2011 from Scotland and completed his radiology and interventional radiology training in Edinburgh, Scotland. He undertook his post-graduate interventional radiology clinical fellowships in both Edinburgh and Auckland. Dr Lim has published and presented at various international meetings. He has also done multiple visiting observerships to leading IR centres across Europe and US. He is the current clinical lead for interventional radiologists at Wellington Regional Hospital.

His daily practice includes a wide range of minimally invasive ‘pin-hole’ procedures which he now offers at Wakefield Hospital. 

This includes treatment for:

  • Uterine fibroids & adenomyosis with uterine artery embolisation (UAE)
  • Benign prostatic hyperplasia with prostate artery embolization (PAE)Visceral aneurysm with embolisation
  • Port-a-cath or line insertion
  • Embolisation in men for varicocoeles
  • Embolization in women for pelvic congestion syndrome
  • Transarterial chemoembolisation (TACE) for liver tumours
  • Liver and renal tumour ablations.
